The visitor centre of the National Park is located in the heart of Prato allo Stelvio, and offers a special kind of experience in touch with nature. It's variety of aquariums allow the possibility to explore the unkowmn world of water in close-up, providing a unique view of the local fauna of aquatic life.

Through the largest panoramic windows in the basement you can observe freshwater fish in the outdoor pool. The stream aquarium cascades along it's 15 metre length and contrains all typical local species of fish, such as the brook trout and the marble trout.
Interactive exhibitions offer additional information about brook, bogs and river forest.
